Matt has over 10 years’ experience working in New Zealand and the Pacific as an archaeologist.

Matt has worked on a wide range of archaeological sites, including Lapita deposits in Papua New Guinea and Fiji, Maori sites, subsurface European deposits, and recording standing heritage buildings. He has worked on several high-profile projects including the Canterbury Earthquake demolitions and rebuild.

Matt has a high level of understanding of the legislation governing archaeological sites, and current methodologies for conducting archaeological investigations.
