About Michael​

Michael Healey is a heritage professional with over 10-years of experience in architecture, archaeology and building surveying. His qualifications include:

  • Master of Archaeological Science degree from the Australian National University
  • Master of Architecture from Curtin University
  • Forensic Building Surveyor
      •  

Michael has a passion for retaining built heritage, particular adaptive reuse, passive design, and traditional building techniques. He launched his career with the restoration of St Paul’s Cathedral in Melbourne in 2006. He has overseen many projects since then which brought him to Christchurch, New Zealand, where he was born and raised.
